Senior Aged Care Law Professional

A key opportunity has arisen for a skilled lawyer or professional to provide expert legal advice and representation to aged care providers, peak bodies and service providers in the aged care industry.
The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen, sound technical skills and a genuine interest in aged care law. They should possess at least 3 years of post-admission experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert legal advice and representation to aged care providers, peak bodies and service providers in the aged care industry.
- Advice on regulatory compliance with the Commonwealth Aged Care Scheme.
- Representation in litigation matters including coronial inquests, VCAT proceedings and court proceedings.
- Drafting regulatory compliance templates.
Requirements:
- Experience working in health, aged care and disability law areas is highly regarded.
- Sound legal analysis and drafting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Initiative and ability to think critically and contribute to problem-solving.
