About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Weipa, Far North Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful coastal community and enjoy incredible outdoor adventures and water-based activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs on Northern and Southern Operations Light Vehicle Assets in the Lorim Point LV Workshop. You will live in the idyllic coastal town of Weipa, with full relocation provided, working a Monday – Friday day shift roster predominately at our Main Workshop at Lorim Point.

Your Responsibilities
  • Carrying out scheduled servicing
  • Performing all maintenance scheduled work
  • Attending and retrieving breakdowns from the mine floor
  • Completing component rebuilds when required
  • Accurately maintaining detailed reports associated paperwork with service or repair tasks
