Expert Coordinator Role

The Australian Electoral Commission is seeking a high-calibre individual to provide expert coordination, communication and support services.

This role focuses on electoral integrity through active electoral roll management, efficient polling services and targeted education programs.

  • Organisational Transformation Group: Delivering modernisation initiatives through enterprise change.
  • Service Delivery Group: Leading event planning efforts and driving business as usual delivery.
  • Enabling and Regulation Group: Providing expert advice, support and resources.

In this role you will:

  • Organise high-level committees, meetings and forums chaired or convened by senior leadership.
  • Coordinate report submissions, briefings and related documents for senior leaders.
  • Represent the office in daily engagement with stakeholders.
  • Provide timely advice on complex matters relating to the group's functions.

You will have:

  • High level capability to respond to routine, sensitive or urgent agency matters.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in preparing, coordinating and quality assuring complex correspondence and briefings.
  • A high degree of initiative, integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
