About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in South East Melbourne. As a Community Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for working with clients in both home and community settings, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
This is a full-time opportunity, with part-time options available. You will have the support of a dedicated team, including experienced therapists, plan and support managers, and admin staff. Your Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in community mental health or a related field (ideally)
- AHPRA registration
- Patient-centric approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong active listening and critical thinking abilities
- A passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others
- Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Eligibility to work in Australia
