Mental Health Therapist

Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic community health team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community by providing fixed-term psychological interventions to individuals with diagnosable mild and moderate mental illness.
The Role
- Work within a stepped model of care, accessing various clinical and community supports to promote an integrated, multi-discipline intervention.
- Manage a caseload of clients with diverse mental health concerns through goal-focused, evidence-based, fixed-term psychological interventions.
Requirements
- Apply good clinical judgment and problem-solving within the organisation's policy and procedures, with guidance from supervisors as needed.
- Prioritise competing work demands in line with agreed work plans and organisational priorities.
- Commit to inclusive practice, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence and strong team skills.

Selection Criteria
- AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Mental Health Accredited Social Worker.
- Current valid Working With Children Check and NDIS Safety Screening check.
