Caregiving Opportunities

We are seeking additional support staff to enhance the lives of older individuals in their homes.

This role involves working one-on-one with consumers, providing personal care, shopping assistance, social support, and other essential services.

Our ideal candidate will be able to work a minimum of 3 days per week and is flexible to do extra shifts. Previous experience in community care is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal care and hygiene support
  • Shopping and grocery assistance
  • Social support and companionship
  • Respite care and medication prompting
  • Domestic assistance and household chores
  • Transportation to appointments and errands
Requirements
  • Able to work a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Flexible to do extra shifts (advantageous)
  • Previous experience in community care an advantage
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Clear communication and empathy for elders
  • Must love driving
  • Current Driver's Licence, reliable car, and own car insurance
  • Great communication with consumers and our support team
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Covid-19 vaccination (mandatory)

Work may involve exposure to pets and stairs with some clients living in top floor dwellings.
