About this role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Private Advisory team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of privately-owned businesses, working closely with owners, C-suite executives, and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of privately-owned businesses, working closely with owners, C-suite executives, and finance teams.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with our clients, providing proactive and practical solutions to address their unique challenges.
  • Lead a team of Associates and Senior Associates, managing workflow and offering coaching to foster their growth and development.
  • Take charge of operational matters across the team, providing expertise and guidance to managers and associates.
  • Participate in operational and business development projects to elevate team capabilities and efficiency on a national scale.
  • Develop your advisory skills in your chosen area of interest, whether it's industry-specific or technical expertise.
  • Actively engage in business development activities to enhance your portfolio and shape your specialization according to your aspirations.

Skills and experience

  • Qualification(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s).
  • CA / CPA qualified, or other relevant industry accreditation(s).
  • Diverse business advisory experience (including private business and high-net worth clients), leading the delivery of high-quality and robust strategic projects.
  • Highly-developed interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with and influence stakeholders at all levels of client organisations.
  • Significant people management and leadership capabilities, with genuine care for your people.
