Job Overview

Ensuring the compliance of products with regulatory requirements is a critical aspect of this role. As a Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs Expert, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring regulatory updates, and developing effective strategies for compliance.

The responsibilities associated with this position include:

  • Compliance with existing regulations in Australia and New Zealand, particularly those relevant to hair, laundry & home care products.
  • Management and updation of a comprehensive library of chemical and product records, including SDSs to meet regulatory obligations.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes, assessing their impact on our portfolio, and developing strategies for compliance.
  • Informing stakeholders about upcoming regulatory trends and proposed new regulations.

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • A degree in Chemistry or comparable field.
  • High-profile achievements in regulatory roles within FMCG or similar industries.
  • Proven ability to manage complexity in multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance.
  • Able to build trusting relationships and collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills and be able to interpret complex regulatory information.
