Fuse Recruitment is seeking a Knowledge Writer to join their Recoveries & Settlements Team. This role plays a vital part in driving operational excellence to support delivering exceptional service and cost outcomes through continuous improvement of claims procedures.

Your new role – comprehensive training provided

You will report to the Manager of Recoveries & Settlements Optimisation, ensuring our client's internal governance framework is understood and applied across the department to deliver consistent knowledge. You will also collaborate with department functions to create and maintain technical workflows/processes & procedures.

  • Knowledge writing & maintenance: assist the department by composing and maintaining technical workflows and procedures, ensuring procedures align with existing principles and are presented in an easy-to-find and user-friendly format
  • Best practice: develop, deploy, and maintain best practice knowledge to sustain or improve the capability and effectiveness of the department
  • Develop and implement a knowledge review strategy: work with key stakeholders and SMEs to complete regular reviews of procedures to ensure knowledge is refreshed and up-to-date
  • Stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication: foster effective relationships with key stakeholders to support engagement by gathering feedback, addressing concerns, and ensuring smooth implementation of procedures
  • Change champion: identify departmental & cross-functional impacts and implement and embed knowledge changes as required

To be successful in this role

  • Demonstrated experience in technical writing, including producing, reviewing, and documenting specific to process and procedure writing
  • Proven ability to translate complex information into a clear and logical written format
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with various stakeholders
  • Effective time management, planning, and prioritization and the ability to manage changing priorities
  • You will be required to undergo background checks and provide proof of full working rights in Australia to work in Insurance

We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around $85,000, based on industry standards and the location. Additional benefits include:
