About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cantonese Content Producer to join our team at Special Broadcasting. As a key member of our Audio and Language Content team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality Cantonese content for our radio and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, write, produce, translate, and present audio content (including news, current affairs, and community stories) on radio and/or online platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the Cantonese-speaking community in Australia and its cultural sensitivities.
  • Contribute to fostering audience engagement on-air and online.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement content strategies that meet the needs of our diverse audience.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in speaking Cantonese and in reading/writing Traditional Chinese, as well as English.
  • Demonstrated professional experience using social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
