The Senior Software Engineer will design, program and document numerical algorithms for offshore engineering. This includes general mathematical calculations and mentoring a team of programmers implementing engineering design modules.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop numerical algorithms for engineering and mathematical calculations in software.
- Troubleshoot engineering design modules to support the technical support group.
- Develop advanced hydrodynamic analysis software used in cross-products and mentor junior developers.
- Advanced degree in Naval Architecture, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, Physics or relevant experience.
- Expertise in FORTRAN programming language.
- Understanding of Hydrodynamics principles.
- Experience in developing software using Intel FORTRAN and object-oriented programming.
- Strong logic and engineering workflow skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
