Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Algorithms Specialist to drive the development and evolution of our sensor fusion engine. This role focuses on improving its tracking capability of large-scale drone swarms, leveraging advanced techniques such as multi-threading, GPU acceleration, and language bindings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Profile, benchmark, and optimize performance-critical sensor fusion code to ensure high-quality results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research in multi-object tracking and integrate cutting-edge algorithms into our sensor fusion engine.
  • Establish and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines that guarantee high code quality, performance, and stability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bug reports.
  • Apply software engineering best practices to maintain the highest standards of code quality and maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional software engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with other general-purpose languages (ideally Python/Golang with experience creating C++ bindings).
  • Experience with CMake, unit testing frameworks, and performance tuning.
  • Strong background in developing data-intensive, real-time applications and/or GPU-accelerated processing systems.
  • Familiarity with Linux and containerization using Docker.
  • Experience in creating automated workflows for CI/CD.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with sensor fusion, multi-sensor data processing, or object tracking algorithms.
  • Background in AI/ML is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability frameworks.

Possess a passion for performance optimization and writing efficient, high-impact code. Enjoy solving complex algorithmic challenges and applying mathematics to real-world systems.
