Job Overview

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to a pricing team, working on algorithms and prices for market-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver updated pricing models and deploy them using Earnix Price-It capabilities
  • Design high-level and detailed algorithms using standard pricing techniques, including GLMs, Machine Learning, Price Simulation, and Rate Setting
  • Analyse data, model prices, and apply complex models using Earnix Price-It
  • Understand the impact of pricing on business unit performance metrics
  • Manage allocated projects or assignments, including pricing for allocated products
  • Identify lead indicators of performance and understand the impact of different drivers and actions on profit and volume outcomes
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A history of success in pricing general insurance products, particularly in commodity/personal lines
  • An understanding of business-as-usual pricing processes and existing relationships with stakeholders in the CUO and MD units
  • A strong working knowledge of Earnix Price-It, including algorithm specification, data structures, and downstream impacts
  • The ability to analyse, interpret, and extrapolate statistical and technical pricing data from multiple sources
  • The ability to communicate complex concepts professionally
  • A Bachelor's degree in an actuarial or mathematically focused area
