About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Explosives Supervisor to join our team at Tarrawonga Mine. Reporting to the Drill and Blast Superintendent, this role will be responsible for coordinating drill and blast activities and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with Drill & Blast Superintendent to organize pre-blasting clean up and preparations, and ensure patterns are established.
- Coordinate drill and blast activities to meet production targets and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitor and control the movement of personnel and equipment on site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and improve overall performance.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in explosives operations and management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to explosives handling and use.
