Job Title: Senior Construction Cost Estimator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Cost Estimator to join our team in the pre-construction phase.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
  • Conduct detailed takeoffs, analyse proposals and bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, architects, and vendors through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Identify and evaluate project risks and opportunities, providing expert guidance and mentorship to junior estimators.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrative experience of at least 7-10 years as a Commercial Construction Estimator.
  • Proven expertise with estimating software and strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
  • A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate and develop junior estimators.
  • A willing attitude to lead and develop into an Estimating Manager.
