Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Cost Estimator to join our Pre-contracts team on the Sunshine Coast. As a key member of our civil construction team, you will play a crucial role in pricing a range of civil infrastructure projects and ensuring our bids meet client expectations.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing tender documentation, scope of works, and contract documentation, as well as preparing estimates for projects across Queensland and Northern NSW. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all aspects of the project are accurately priced and that our clients receive high-quality service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in civil estimation or a related field
  • Experience in site-based roles, such as Project Engineers or Project Managers
  • Demonstrated expertise in industry-standard software programs and ability to articulate construction methods clearly
  • Ability to identify risks, opportunities, and present alternate methodologies or solutions to achieve better project outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with co-workers, management at all levels, clients, and sub-contractors
