As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring operations conform to food safety regulations and quality systems requirements through partnering with production.

You will document control and report on non-conformance and corrective action requirements within the parameters of the quality management system.

Additionally, you will support and implement key food safety requirements and quality outcomes, undertake quality internal audits, HACCP enquiries, and respond to any customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all staff are aware and comply with necessary requirements of our quality management systems.
  • Support and implement key food safety requirements and quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Qualifications in HACCP, and AusMeat Specification Qualifications, or quality assurance background in a food manufacturing environment, or operational experience in a meat processing facility.
  • A strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • Commitment to company values, and food safety culture.
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Attention to detail, initiative, time management and follow through.
  • Unlimited working rights within Australia.
  • Ability to work alongside a diverse workforce.
