About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our high-performing location in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, including financial management, team leadership, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the restaurant's profit and loss statement, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Lead and develop a team of 30 staff members, providing coaching and training to enhance their skills and performance
  • Implement effective shift management and performance management strategies to drive business growth
  • Recruit and train new staff members to ensure a high-performing team
  • Collaborate with the operations manager to develop and implement business strategies

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, Store Manager, or Venue Manager in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business growth
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions
