Restaurant Manager Opportunity at Hyatt Centric Melbourne

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Hyatt Centric Melbourne. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our Langlands Restaurant & Bar.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences
* Assist the Venues Manager with the smooth and efficient operation of Langlands Restaurant & Bar
* Implement long-term and short-term outlet goals
* Assist with creating and communicating rosters and delegating tasks
* Control manning and inventory levels of the Restaurant in relation to occupancy, requirements, service quality, and costs
* Assist with the recruitment, training, and on-boarding process
* Ensure all team members provide exceptional guest service at all times

Requirements:

* Previous proven managerial experience in a premium restaurant or 5-star hotel
* Current Victorian RSA Certificate
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, train, and motivate team members
* A true foodie with sound Victorian product knowledge
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
* Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
