Job Description

This is a highly regarded builder, renowned for crafting exceptional and innovative residential and mixed-use developments across Brisbane. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of our upcoming luxury apartment project in the prestigious Hamilton precinct.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of the Hamilton apartment project. They will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage all project stakeholders, and ensure the project meets its objectives regarding scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety.

  • Developing and managing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Leading, motivating, and coordinating internal teams and external consultants and contractors.
  • Driving procurement strategies and managing all project contracts.
  • Ensuring rigorous adherence to quality assurance standards and safety protocols on site.
  • Proactive identification and mitigation of project risks and challenges.
  • Fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, authorities, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Reporting regularly on project progress to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and variations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on significant multi-story residential / apartment projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Strong understanding of the full development lifecycle, from design management, authority approvals, through to construction and handover.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Robust financial acumen and experience in cost control and contract administration.
  • Thorough knowledge of Queensland building codes, regulations, and WHS requirements.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
