Senior Healthcare Leader

We are seeking a seasoned healthcare professional to fill the role of Senior Allied Health Manager.

About the Position:
  • Provide expert support, guidance, and supervision to junior Allied Health professionals.
  • Lead clinical training, evaluation, and assessment of students on placement.
  • Manage a high-volume workload while overseeing managerial and supervisory responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced Allied Health professional with a tertiary qualification in Psychology and registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Mentor and supervise Allied Health staff, providing direct line management and participating in performance reviews.
  2. Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, providing verbal and written feedback to referring doctors.
  3. Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and monitor client progress, adjusting treatment as needed for complex cases.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology.
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Experience leading groups and providing individual therapy using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, Schema-Focused Therapy, and ACT.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to influence outcomes and drive excellence in professional practice.
