Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker/Welder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for crafting, shaping, and finishing components made from a variety of metals. Your expertise will be essential in bringing our innovative solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, install, maintain, and repair machinery following engineering drawings
  • Cut, shape, join, and finish components made from a variety of metals, including low carbon steel and low alloy stainless steel
  • Weld using different welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding processes
  • Finish products by cleaning, polishing, and filing
  • Conduct quality control and safety inspections to test and inspect machinery
  • Participate in general assembly and fabrication

Requirements

  • Trade certificate as a Boil Maker or similar
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use basic shop math, including decimals and fractions
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift approximately 25kg
  • Ability to see details at close range
  • Experience in setting up and operating manufacturing machinery
  • Knowledge of raw materials, including hot-rolled, cold-rolled, stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum
  • Understanding of safety protocols
  • Forklift experience is an advantage
