Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker/Welder to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for crafting, shaping, and finishing components made from various metals. You will operate a range of machinery, from forklifts and overhead cranes to clamping devices and presses, bringing our innovative solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, assemble, install, maintain, and repair machinery according to engineering drawings
  • Cut, shape, join, and finish components made from low carbon steel, low alloy stainless steel, and other metals
  • Weld using MIG and TIG welding processes
  • Finish products by cleaning, polishing, and filing
  • Conduct quality control and safety inspections to test and inspect machinery
  • Perform general assembly and fabrication tasks
Requirements
  • Trade certificate in Boil Making or similar
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use basic shop math
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift approximately 25kg
  • Good eyesight for detail
  • Ability to set up and operate manufacturing machinery
  • Knowledge of raw materials, including hot-rolled, cold-rolled, stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum
  • Familiarity with safety protocols
  • Forklift experience is an advantage
