Job Overview:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your accounting and financial expertise in a dynamic and growth-oriented role.
  • As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical part in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis across various customer contracts.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills are essential in this position, as you will work closely with operations and commercial teams to drive performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing weekly/monthly P&L and bridge reports for customer contracts, managing revenue and cost recognition, general ledger journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Additionally, you will assist with annual planning, reforecasting, and system/process improvements.
  • Ongoing compliance with internal controls and reporting timetables is also crucial.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or commerce.
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial finance, preferably within the transport/logistics industry.
  • Excellent financial reporting and budgeting skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, TM1, and Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills are vital.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and high attention to detail are expected.
