About this role

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our Middleware environments in enterprise-scale applications.

This position involves provision, configuration, and maintenance of IBM MQ systems, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of these environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision and configure IBM MQ systems for large enterprises
  • Maintenance and support of middleware environments in enterprise-scale applications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in IBM MQ provisioning and configuration
  • Basic working knowledge of Jenkins and CHEF for automated deployment and configuration
  • Proven ability to support middleware environments in enterprise-scale applications
  • Strong ITIL experience with large enterprises, change, release and incident management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Cross skilled with MQ and application server is preferred and flexible to learn other middleware components
