Job Title

We are seeking an accomplished Mechanical Engineer to lead our technical projects and drive the continuous development of tools and systems within the resources sector.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-sufficient and motivated Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer who will use their strategic business knowledge, technical expertise, and experience to be an integral part of project execution. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and advice to a growing team of mechanical engineers and contribute to delivering exceptional value to clients through high-quality solutions that align with project objectives and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a key technical leader on projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other disciplines to develop designs for a wide range of plant and infrastructure.
  • Execute Mechanical Engineering tasks across various projects, including materials handling, equipment selection, pumping and piping, and ensure design tasks are completed in accordance with company and project requirements.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment and foster strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering and 6+ years of Multidisciplinary Engineering experience in the mining and resources sector.
  • Strong design experience with the capability to produce calculations and design documentation.
  • Experience working in construction, commissioning, and/or operations in the bulk materials and minerals processing industries.
  • Demonstrated understanding of industry safety and environmental standards.
