Job Title

A top mechanical engineer is required to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years post graduate experience in Mineral Processing in a mechanical capacity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver proficient and accurate design input for the production of mechanical drawings;
  • Conduct timely reviews of Project mechanical drawings to achieve full compliance with design intent;
  • Perform accurate engineering design and calculations in accordance with Project, Client and regulatory standards;
  • Interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications and scopes;
  • Ensure correctly specified equipment is sourced to meet project deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or the equivalent;
  • Minimum 8 year's post graduate experience in Mineral Processing in a mechanical capacity desired;
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • High attention to detail and exceptional knowledge across a broad range of disciplines;
  • Proven time management and organisational skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
