Job Title: Support WorkerWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker.The successful candidate will assist with domestic tasks, social support, personal care, medication prompting, companionship, and dementia care in the comfort of clients' homes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Domestic assistance: assisting with cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, etc.
  • Social support: accompanying clients on trips for appointments, shopping, and outings.
  • Personal care: helping with showering, toileting, transferring, incontinence care, feeding, and mobility assistance.
  • Medication prompting and supervision.
  • Companionship and dementia care.
Selection Criteria:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care / Certificate IV in Individual Support or equivalent (desired but not compulsory if experienced).
  • First Aid Certification (required).
  • National Police Certificate (required).
  • Driver Licence with Car (required).
  • Smartphone with Internet Access (required).
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills in customer service.
  • Able to meet our standards and values when performing tasks.
  • Holds an eye for detail and possesses excellent organisational skills.
  • Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and solve problems quickly.
  • Can work autonomously and as part of a small team.
  • Must be flexible with hours.
