Motor Insurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Insurance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Motor Underwriter to drive profitable growth through Broker partners in our Prestige Motor Insurance agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Assessment and Pricing: Assess motor policies, set effective pricing, and negotiate terms.
  • Renewals, Endorsements, and New Business: Manage Renewals, Endorsements, and New Business opportunities to meet financial targets.
  • Exceptional Service Standards: Maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to best practices, ethics, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with brokers, business partners at events, and contribute to the Underwriter audit process.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in Insurance Underwriting/Broking/Motor Claims.
  • Qualifications: Industry qualifications (Tier 2) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Candidate Profile: Strong customer focus, with intermediated distribution channels desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Personal Qualities: A willingness to learn and use initiative.
  • Traits: Ability to foster strong relationships with Brokers and Markets.
  • Judgment and Decision-Making: Intelligent decision-making, understanding legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Data Analysis: Data-driven approach to uncover insights and drive success.
