About the Role

">

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated Registered Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists (AHPRA registered) or Social Workers with Professional Body Membership to facilitate evidence-based group therapy to adult inpatients.

The group program focuses on skill building informed by evidence-based group therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Group members will be empowered to develop effective coping strategies to improve mental health, foster recovery and achieve a full and meaningful life.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • ">
  • Registration/qualifications within your relevant field or industry body, ie AHPRA">
  • Minimum of one-year post-graduate experience in Mental Health and Group Facilitation">
  • Training and experience in evidence-based group therapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed)">
  • Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines efficiently">
  • Ability to facilitate and deliver skill group content with creativity and flexibility">
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment">
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to engage and interact with people with mental illness">
  • Commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to people seeking mental health treatment">
