Injury Management Support Professional

Our organization is seeking a Rehabilitation and Injury Management Specialist to support Senior Managers with information and training surrounding Occupational Rehabilitation and Injury Management Issues.
The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating a safe, timely, and durable return to duties for ill and injured employees. This involves providing vital support for Health workers through proactive case management.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Senior Managers with information and training surrounding Occupational Rehabilitation and Injury Management Issues.
- Provide critical assistance to Health workers in managing complex and long-term cases, ensuring a seamless transition back to work.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health or an appropriate discipline and/or workers compensation and injury management experience and expertise.
- Well-developed oral and written communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Thorough understanding of injury management principles and extensive experience in managing a large caseload, including complex and long-term cases.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of Workers Compensation legislation and relevant regulations.
- Experience in using SolvInjury or similar injury management data bases, Health Roster, Stafflink and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to collect and analyze data, preparing information for reporting purposes.
- Possess or willing to obtain NSW SIRA Return to Work Coordinator Accreditation.
- Current Driver's License.
