Animal Care Development Officer

This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in animal care through a competency-based traineeship. Under close supervision, you will undertake formal and on-the-job learning activities to achieve a range of skills in this field.
As a member of our team, you will assist in providing care and basic animal health to animals housed at the shelter. This involves working closely with experienced staff to ensure the welfare and well-being of all animals in our care.
To be successful in this role, you will need to complete a 2-year Certificate III in Animal Care Services qualification. This will involve undertaking coursework and practical training to develop your knowledge and skills in animal care.
