Legal Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our Migration practice as a Legal Assistant. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to provide legal support, manage migration matters, and expand your skillset under the guidance of experienced Migration Lawyers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Direct communication with clients to discuss their migration matters
  • Managing data entry tasks in a timely manner
  • Opening and closing files efficiently
  • Completing end of month billing tasks
  • Providing administrative support to the team on a wide range of matters
  • Carrying out general administrative duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Proficiency in using software applications such as Migration Manager
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • High level computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A strong commitment to excellence in client service

You will also be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently and with limited supervision, and a team player who can take direction and foster professional relationships with both staff and clients.
