Job Overview

As an administrative assistant, you will provide operational and support services to a migration expert. You will assist clients with their immigration-related matters, coordinate documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Document Preparation and Review:

Prepare and review immigration forms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to guidelines and regulations. Maintain client files, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping. Assist in drafting and reviewing legal correspondence, submissions, and other documents. Conduct research on immigration laws, policies, and procedures.

Case Management:

Assist the migration agent or lawyer in managing caseloads and deadlines. Update databases and case management systems with accurate information. Prepare appeals if necessary.

Compliance and Ethics

Stay informed about immigration laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with professional standards. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information professionally. Comply with data protection regulations when handling client data.

Administrative Support

Support events, seminars, or workshops related to immigration. Assist in marketing and business development activities, such as preparing promotional materials or maintaining online platforms.

Qualifications and Skills

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, migration studies) is preferred. Dari/Farsi language skills are beneficial. Prior experience working in an immigration consultancy firm, law firm, or similar environment is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
