Job Title: Emergency Medicine Medical Officer
Job Description:

The primary purpose of this role is to provide medical care and management to patients presenting to the emergency department.

As a medical officer, you will be responsible for assessing, investigating, and managing patients under the supervision of an emergency physician.

You will work autonomously within a supervised complex clinical environment, utilizing excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise.

Key responsibilities include managing patients in the emergency department, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure optimal care.

Essential Requirements:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Minimum three years postgraduate experience
  • Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Selection Criteria:
  • Qualifications and experience commensurate with the essential requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously within a supervised complex clinical environment
  • Excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise
