Emergency Medicine Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney. As an active participant in research projects within the ED, you will play a key role in improving emergency care for all patients equitably.

The ED is a busy and dynamic environment, seeing a wide range of adult patients including trauma and mental health presentations. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality medical care, develop clinical service plans, and teach and mentor junior medical officers and undergraduate students.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Personal integrity and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
  • Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent
  • Extensive experience and expertise in Emergency Medicine, particularly in teaching hospitals
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of complex clinical and social problems
