Adelaide, South Australia Santos Full time
About Santos

Santos is a global energy company with a strong commitment to providing reliable and affordable energy solutions. Our goal is to be a leader in the energy evolution to low-carbon fuels, helping the world decarbonize and continue to provide the energy needed for modern life and human progress.

We operate across Australia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, and the United States, with a diverse portfolio of high-quality, long-life, low-cost oil and gas assets, carbon storage resources, and infrastructure.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Technical Assessment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our assessment platform, designed for technical skill evaluations, and ensuring it remains robust and responsive.

You will work closely with Functional Leaders and Subject Matter Experts to shape the system's setup requirements, aligning with the platform's broader capabilities. Your expertise will enhance data integrity and empower our technical communities to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Expertise: Ensure the Compass assessment platform is set up to meet current business needs, maintain expert-level knowledge of the system functionality, and support business requests.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to keep abreast of changes on the platform, maintain system expertise, and perform system upgrades as required.
  • Platform Deployment: Provide setup advice and supporting documentation to Functional Leaders and new communities, ensuring end users gain timely access and instructions to commence their self-assessments.
  • Reporting: Enable timely business reporting as required to meet business needs, facilitating access to correct reports or the flow of data from the Assessment platform to Technical Reporting dashboards.
About You

We are looking for a professional with a proven track record as an LMS or Systems Administrator, ideally with experience managing the Compass Assessment platform or SAP SuccessFactors in a global organization. Your ability to dive deep into issues and uncover root causes will be crucial for delivering long-term solutions that enhance our complex assessment platform.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and drive initiatives forward, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate competing priorities effectively. Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, including MSTeams, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, will further empower you to consolidate information and define the scope of improvement initiatives.

Join us in making a meaningful impact in our technical communities and contributing to the energy evolution to low-carbon fuels.
