Position Overview

We are in search of a Cybersecurity Assessment Specialist with a minimum NV1 security clearance who will play a pivotal role in evaluating the security framework of our clients' ICT applications and gateway systems. Your expertise will be crucial in employing diverse testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools to uncover and exploit vulnerabilities, while also providing actionable recommendations for remediation. Success in this position demands robust technical acumen, ethical integrity, and a dedication to enhancing our clients' security measures.

This opportunity is available as either a Contract or Permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute penetration assessments on ICT applications and gateway systems to detect security weaknesses.
  • Apply a range of testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools to evaluate security effectiveness.
  • Formulate detailed plans and protocols for penetration assessments tailored to client specifications.
  • Document methodologies, approaches, and findings for comprehensive penetration assessment reports.
  • Propose technical solutions for identified vulnerabilities and support clients in implementing corrective actions.
  • Comply with established penetration testing guidelines and objectives, ensuring ethical practices throughout the assessment process.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum NV1 clearance, with NV2 or PV being preferable.
  • A background in Defence or Federal Government is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in penetration testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Strong grasp of security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in crafting penetration assessment plans and protocols.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and adherence to penetration testing standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
