About This Role

The Business Manager 1 will be responsible for overseeing the school's operational functions, including administrative tasks, asset management, procurement, finance and work health and safety.

This individual will report to the school principal and executive, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective decision-making within the leadership team.

Responsibilities include supervising and leading a team of administrative staff, managing non-teaching personnel, and collaborating with contractors as required.

Key Requirements

  • A current Working with Children Check Clearance
  • A demonstrated commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education and Training policies

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Prior experience in financial and accounting functions, utilizing computerized systems to drive efficiency and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with school staff, students, and community members
