About the Role

We are seeking an experienced instrumental music educator to join our team as a tutor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instrumental music lessons to students in a range of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver and coordinate the school's instrumental music program, working closely with teachers and other staff members.
  • To teach small group tuition to students, using a variety of teaching methods and materials.
  • To lead and conduct instrumental ensembles, including orchestras, bands, and choirs.
  • To work collaboratively with leadership teams and other staff members to ensure the smooth running of school events and performances.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and abilities.

About You
  • You will have a tertiary qualification in music or a related field.
  • You will have experience in teaching and conducting instrumental music, preferably in a school setting.
  • You will have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
