Northern Territory PHN seeks a Clinical Lead to provide key leadership and support to the headspace Katherine Primary Team.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $108,447.94 per annum, as well as up to $7,000 for relocation assistance through NT PHN. They will also be eligible for scholarship and bursary grants through NT PHN and can take advantage of salary packaging up to $15,900 annually.
Job DescriptionThe Clinical Lead will deliver effective, developmentally appropriate and evidence-based interventions to young people and their families. This includes providing direct clinical care to young people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues and supporting the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Worker to ensure care provided to Aboriginal young people is delivered in a culturally safe way.
The Clinical Lead will also be responsible for providing clinical leadership and ensuring that day-to-day clinical operations are carried out in an effective way. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote quality service delivery and ensuring that all staff members have the necessary skills and training to provide high-quality care.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A relevant tertiary qualification and minimum 5 years of experience working in a mental health setting
- Registration with the relevant regulatory body as a practicing Clinical Lead
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills with experience in providing clinical leadership and supervision within a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience providing a range of early intervention services to young people within a mental health setting, including provision of group programs
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
