Exceptional Painting and Decorating Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our Property Operations team at The Star Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our property.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality painting and decorating services, with a focus on attention to detail and excellent workmanship.

About the Role
  • Painting and decorating of interior and exterior surfaces
  • Execution of preventative maintenance programs for hotel rooms, F&B, Gaming, and event spaces
  • Sourcing and replacing wallpaper in various locations of the property
  • Maintenance of proficiency in colour matching, touch-up refinishing of furniture, and repair and hanging of wall coverings
  • Routine inspections of assigned areas and reporting and repairing as required
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role and awareness of residential and commercial painting
  • Trade certificate (Cert III) as minimum
  • Passion and pride for providing an excellent product and good organisational and self-management skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to work unsupervised, and willingness to assist with other maintenance when required
  • Professional approach in dealing with guests and stakeholders whilst carrying out daily tasks
