Job Overview



We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our dynamic team at Orosi Construction Pty Ltd. Based in Coogee NSW 2034, we specialise in residential, commercial, and industrial projects with a diverse portfolio marked by precision and client satisfaction.



Responsibilities:



  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine all material and construction requirements.
  • Determine all materials needed for each job and take precise measurements to calculate the size and amount of material required.
  • Cut and shape building materials such as fiberglass and steel according to measurements.
  • Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings using raw materials or preconstructed items.
  • Lay out floorings, roofing, or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible.
  • Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance.
  • Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
  • Assemble and fasten various materials to erect framework.
  • Install structures and fixtures.


Qualifications and Skills:



  • Relevant qualification is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years' work experience is required.
  • Enjoy practical work and be able to cope with the physical demands of the job.
  • Able to work with your hands and possess good balance and ability to work at heights.
  • Good mathematical skills and overall good health and eyesight.
  • Able to work as part of a team and possess good decision-making and problem-solving skills.


Benefits:



  • A competitive salary package ranging from $75,000 - $90,000 per annum plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
