Child Mental Health Services Director

Clinical Lead in Child and Adolescent Mental Health is a high-level role that requires exceptional clinical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work with children and young people experiencing mental health challenges.
This position involves providing expert clinical services, governance, and support to a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians. The Clinical Leader will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children and young people up to 18 years of age who present with symptoms of mental illness, risk issues, or other complex needs.
- The successful candidate will have strong clinical and consultancy skills, as well as experience working with families and carers to develop and implement evidence-based interventions.
- They will also lead and supervise mental health clinicians from all disciplines, ensuring standards of clinical practice are upheld.
- Additionally, they will develop and implement clinical policies and procedures that promote best practice and improve patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Expertise in child and adolescent mental health, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with children, young people, families, and carers.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.
