Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to deliver high-quality policy research and advice supporting transparency, consumer protections, and affordability in Victoria's energy retail market.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of evidence-based policy and provide clear, well-structured advice to support decision-making.
  • Independently undertake complex research and analysis, identifying and responding to current and emerging issues strategically.
  • Demonstrate strong policy development and implementation skills, excellent written communication, and organisational ability.
  • Prioritise and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
  • Apply critical thinking and experience with government processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in economics, law, or an energy-related field (highly desirable).
  • Experience with government policy development and delivery (desirable).
  • Knowledge of electricity and gas retail markets, energy retail pricing, or consumer energy frameworks and protections (highly desirable).
