IT Infrastructure Support Specialist

The role of IT Systems Administrator and Support is pivotal in managing and maintaining corporate and sensitive network environments.

This fast-paced, hands-on position requires you to be part of a small team supporting a growing organisation across two Canberra sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including configuration and maintenance.
  • Manage security settings such as MFA, conditional access, and threat protection.
  • Implement compliance policies including DLP and data retention across Microsoft 365.
  • Maintain and monitor sensitive networks ensuring performance, security, and uptime.
  • Oversee physical and environmental security of the facility hosting sensitive IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight cyber security frameworks.
  • Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage IT service requests and incidents via the internal ticketing system.
  • Procure IT hardware and software and coordinate with vendors for delivery and support.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance and system upgrades with internal teams and external providers.

To be eligible for this role, you must be able to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance. Over 3 years' experience working within government, consulting, or a professional services environment will be highly regarded.
