This role is inclusive of a 25% casual loading.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced APS 5 or APS 6 Policy Officer to join our team on a short-term contract. The ideal candidate will be based in Canberra or Alice Springs and hold a baseline clearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in drafting briefing papers, policy documents, and submissions to government.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy decisions.
  • Harness data to provide insights into policy issues and implementation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to respond to their needs.
Requirements
  • Experience in policy development and analysis.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Baseline clearance.
