Job Title: APS 5 Personnel Security Vetting Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced APS 5 Personnel Security Vetting Officer to join our team at face2face Recruitment.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and communication skills. As an APS 5 Personnel Security Vetting Officer, you will be responsible for assessing information from various sources, conducting research, and performing detailed analysis and assessment to prepare recommendations in high-level written reports.

You will also provide policy and related procedural advice regarding security clearance requirements, undertake administrative duties to support security clearance processes, and develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess information from various sources and conduct research to support security clearance decisions.
  • Perform detailed analysis and assessment to prepare recommendations in high-level written reports.
  • Provide policy and related procedural advice regarding security clearance requirements.
  • Undertake administrative duties to support security clearance processes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to think strategically and demonstrate sound judgement and initiative.
  • Respond positively to change, support others, and commit to action.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience working in Government or a similar high-security environment.
  • Experience in Quality assurance or training in a security vetting environment.
