Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Fitter

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill this role. As a Mobile Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

About the Role:
  • Maintenance and repair of autonomous haul trucks and ancillary equipment.
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and contributing to a strong safety culture.
  • Maintenance record keeping and accurate tracking of equipment status.
  • Collaboration with maintenance supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or heavy diesel fitting.
  • Minimum 2 years post-trade experience.
  • Strong mechanical expertise, fault-finding, and diagnostic skills on a wide variety of mobile equipment.
  • Experience working with haul trucks, loaders, graders, and water carts.
  • OEM Experience highly regarded.
  • High levels of initiative and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong commitment towards safety and quality.
