Job Title: Supervisor

BESIX Watpac is seeking a skilled Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of projects, maintaining a safe working environment, and driving company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Management: Organize and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and effective use of resources.
  • Safety and Compliance: Proactively promote company safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with OH&S legislative requirements.
  • Communication and Coordination: Assist the Site Manager in reporting site activities, identifying potential delays or safety issues, and taking necessary action to mitigate risks.
  • Resource Allocation: In consultation with the Project Manager, allocate necessary site staff and resources to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that company policies and practices on quality assurance are implemented and policed at the work face.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in building/construction or other recognized tertiary or trade qualification in a construction-related field.
  • Skills and Experience: Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills. Proven high level of professionalism, maturity, and candour in daily work ethic.
